Words Of Reason For Wednesday Morning

I found this today and completely agree. Please pass this on as the author has requested. Here's the original site. Enjoy and remember we are all Americans regardless of who's in the White House. Vote Tuesday.

President Bush or President Kerry, My President Either Way

I am working for a victory for President Bush. I think Kerry is a bad man and would make a terrible President. Nobody who has followed my writing on this blog for the past two months or in the wider world for the past year would ever misunderstand that. I also believe that President Bush is going to win a solid victory on Tuesday, and I am praying for an undisputed, clean election.

People with my political beliefs, myself included, made a terrible mistake in the Clinton years. We decided en masse that because he was such a dreadful man, because he was so destructive to the office, that he was no longer our President. That he was illegitimate. That we hated him.

This was a profoundly bad thing for America.

Yes, he was a bad man and he did some terrible things and he was, in fact, profoundly destructive to the office of the Presidency. But we on the right lost sight of something: we were not responsible for what Bill Clinton was. We were responsible for what we were.

Our country is predicated on the idea that we don't need to have civil wars and hyper-partisan destructive political conflict, because we provide a mechanism for the people to select our leadership. If the people vote for you according to the pre-existing rules, then hey, you're the leader.

This arrangement is in danger. It was in danger in the 1980s from the right, and it is in danger today from the left. If Kerry wins, then it will be the right's turn to be the ones tearing down the fragile network of customs and beliefs that holds our nation together. I don't think we should do that. I don't want to be a part of doing that again. I did it in the 1980s and it was stupid and destructive and wrong of me. I'm sorry about it, but the only thing I can do about it now is to resolve not to do it again.

If John Kerry wins, reasonably fair, reasonably square, then he will become my President and I will support him. That doesn't mean I won't fight him like the devil on all the many, many things he will do that are wrong and bad; I will. That doesn't mean I won't criticize him ferociously and with a partisan growl; I will.

But I won't declare that he is an illegitimate leader.

I won't undermine him in front of the national leaders that he has to relate to in order to do his job.

I won't call him President-Select Kerry if the Supreme Court has to intervene, again, to keep the electoral machinery moving.

I won't print up bumper stickers in 2008 saying Re-Unelect Kerry.

I won't, in short, do any of the things that the nauseating anti-Bush left has done in the last four years. I did that stuff with Clinton, and now that I've grown up a little bit, and now that I've seen what it looks like when the other side does it to my guy, and now that they've held up a mirror, it's a little bit sickening, and I'm more than a little bit ashamed.

Here's what it boils down to, folks:

If John Kerry wins the election, reasonably fair, reasonably square, then he becomes my President and your President.

If George Bush wins the election, reasonably fair, reasonably square, then he remains my President and your President.

This is my pledge, my promise, my what-have-you. It's written down, in black and white. Call me on it if I renege.

I ask everybody who reads this to do two things if they agree with me.

One, say it loud and say it proud, the winner of the 2004 election is my President, and whether I like him or not, whether I agree with him or not, I'm not going to be a Michael Moore-style flaming gasbag asshat about it.

Two, pass the link along. Send it to your friends, post it on your blog, whatever. It's important. We are one country, and we have to pull together whether we agree with one another or not.

Hail To The Victors

Please excuse for me not posting yesterday. I had to have my heart restarted after watching a classic battle between Michigan and Michigan State. To my great delight Michigan prevailed after falling behind by 17 points with a triple overtime winner. This is only the 3rd time Michigan has come from that far behind to win and I am proud to say I have witnessed 2 of the 3 and was at one.

My one and only trip to The Big House was the Michigan/Virginia game in Charles Woodson's freshman year, Tiki Barber was on that Virginia team as well. Michigan came from 17 down to win that game in regulation time.

Saturday game was far more critical for Michigan since they sit atop the Big Ten standings tied with Wisconsin and the two teams do not play each other this year due to the quirky Big Ten schedule. As it stands, Michigan's lone loss is to the hated Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. I have always said that a successful Michigan season only need include victories over Norte Dame, Michigan State, and Ohio State. They could go 3-9 every year in my book as long as they beat those three teams.

Till tomorrow, or later today Happy Halloween........................

What To Expect From A Heinz-Kerry First Lady

I ran across this:

The Product: Heinz Ketchup.
You Assume: When you buy a bottle of ketchup that says “20 oz.” On it, you get 20 oz. of ketchup.
Would They Lie To Us?: Bill Baker of Redding, California, bought a 20 oz. bottle of ketchup for his wife’s meatloaf. The recipe called for 20 oz. exactly, but when they poured it into a measuring cup, it was an ounce and a half short.
Exposed: Bill got ticked off. “If it says 20 ounces, it should be 20 ounces,” he said. He called the state’s Division of Measurement, setting off a five-year statewide investigation of H. J. Heinz Co. What did they find? Heinz’s bottled products, from the 20-ounce to the 64-ounce size, were regularly 0.5% to 2% short. That may not seem like much, but officials estimated that Californians had been cheated out of 10 million ounces – 78,124 gallons – of the red stuff. That’s $650,000 worth of ketchup. Heinz was ordered to pay $180,000 in civil penalties, and agreed to overfill their bottles for one year – by about 10 million ounces.

I have but one question, if Kerry wins and his wife is put in charge of health care reform ala Bill/Hillary, can we expect similar treatment in our health plan? I can see it now, sorry Mrs. Smith, we did not have quite enough blood to complete you dialysis so you will feel a couple pints low for a day or two. Enjoy................

The PC Police Strike Halloween

Happy Halloween to all those who are allowed to celebrate, lol I almost fell out of my seat when I read this pile of bullshit. Read the article below. Remember this Halloween, beware the Politically Correct Police. Later...............

An Open Letter To John Kerry

Senator Kerry,

I would like to explain why I can not vote for you and why I would encourage every American not vote for you. Allow me to take your agenda point by point.

(1) Your position on the Iraq. I do not believe for one second that you will do what needs to be done to help the Iraqi people in their path toward freedom. I feel that based on your changing positions and your aversion to war and our military, you will leave Iraq as soon as you can. The only thing I can give you credit for is your service to this country in Vietnam, thank you. This would be a terrible mistake and allow the Iraqis to fall under a Taliban like government. You have done nothing but be critical of the efforts of our military and allies, not to mention your changing position on funding the war. Let me refresh your memory, in an interview with Tim Russert of NBC this past spring you were asked about funding for the Iraq War. Mr. Russert asked you if you thought the funding at the time was adequate, your response was that the funding should be increased and when asked by how much, you responded by however much it takes to win. Now you are out on the campaign trail saying that the President has allocated too much money for the Iraqi War effort and even lying about the amount. Do you understand why the American public simply does not trust you on this issue?

(2) Your position on the War on Terror. I think your recent comment on terrorists being a nuisance sums up your entire position on terror. You are squarely in the Clinton camp on this one. You have stood shoulder to shoulder with the Clinton Administration as they launched worthless missile strikes on ambiguous targets in a reactionary policy that does nothing to prevent future attacks. Listen carefully, terrorism is not a nuisance nor is it a matter for law enforcement. Terrorism requires a proactive military response, end of story. If we move away from this policy, the fight against terror will surely come to our shores and be fought on the streets of America.

(3) Your position on Economics. I am sure that you know this or have been told, but 80% of the jobs in this country are created by small businesses and not large government programs. Your plan to repeal the tax cut on Americans making over $200,000 would hurt job creation since most small business owners pay their taxes at the personal tax rate rather then a business rate. This may be economics 101 but 80% of the income tax in this country is paid by the wealthiest 20%, do you mean to suggest that they pay a larger share? Being a rich man yourself, can you explain why then you avoid paying your fair share by using loopholes in the tax code? Is this another case of doing what you say but not what you do? Class warfare is one page you should have thrown out of the Democrat plan book.

(4) Your position on Health Care. Let’s take a look at the current Flu shot “crisis” as an example of what you’re proposing for our entire health care system. The shortage of Flu shots is directly a result of failed government price controls put in place by the Clinton Administration to achieve the worthy goal of immunizing each child. The price controls combined with rampant lawsuits have forced American vaccine companies to conclude that they simply can not do business in this environment, thus our dependence on foreign supplies of the Flu vaccine. Your health care policy if implemented will have the same effect and the world-class health care system we enjoy today will be reduced to the Canadian or British model at best. If the vaccine and pharmaceutical companies can not make a profit then the first area to suffer is research and development. R&D is the hallmark of our world class health system, and without it, we are faced with the prospect of a Third World health system.

(5) Your position on Social Security. Whether you like it or not, Social Security needs to be fixed, adjusted, or something done to preserve the benefits that we pay to current and future seniors. Your recent statement that Social Security is fine and you’re not going to “tinker” with it is just misleading and wrong. If you’re elected President you will face two choices as the baby boomers retire, either raise the retirement age or decrease benefits. If you choose to ignore the problem as you have stated is your plan, then I and my children will have to make other plans for retirement because Social Security as we know it will cease to exist. Senator, this problem requires some “thinking outside the box” and not someone such as yourself who wants to stick your head in the sand.

(6) Your position on Immigration. I actually had not heard your position on immigration with the exception of your ducking of the question in the 3rd Presidential debate. I paid your website a visit to find your plan for immigration, which I had to search for since it was not listed on your main platform page. After reading your stance, I find it vague and pandering to big business’s needs for cheap labor and your own party’s need for voters. For the record, I feel that both parties have failed the American people on this issue and have serious disagreements with the President’s plans for immigration. You offer no solution that will protect this country from the hoards of illegals crossing our borders each day.

I do have one thing to congratulate you on Senator. You claim to be a “uniter”; well you have managed to completely reverse the definition of “uniter”. Here’s the new definition according to your actions:

  • You divide American by race with your “Jim Crow” tactics.
  • You divide American by economics with your pitting of the rich vs. everyone else in a battle of class warfare.
  • You divide American youth against everyone by your false claims of a coming military draft.
  • You divide American seniors against everyone by your false claims of privatizing Social Security.
  • You divide American men and women with your exaggerations of unfair compensation.

Senator Kerry here’s wishing you luck upon your return to the Senate, May you continue what you started, 20 years of missing committee meetings, voting on the wrong side of issues and overall incompetence.

The Greatest Show Ever, After Seinfeld

Has anyone seen Draw Together on Comedy Central yet? I generally only watch South Park on the channel; I can't stomach Jon Stewart any more. I actually stopped watching him last year, but this is not about him.

Draw Together is the first cartoon reality show featuring cartoon characters from different genres. First of all this is the most offensive, non-politically correct show in the history of television and is marketed as such so people can't say they were not warned. Now for those very reasons that may turn some people off, make me think it will be a great success. Thus the backlash against the politically correct continues. Check the link out below. The Ohio Ballot Fix Of '04

Notice anything wrong with the ballot above? Mainly that the numbers for each candidate don't line up. If I was a betting man, I would say that for this county that the ballot layout is on purpose. I have included 2 links below with more information on this scam in Ohio. Enjoy.....

The Truth Straight From Iraq

This is exactly the kind of stories that the Pro Kerry Information Coalition does not want to report for fear of helping the President in some way. The job of the news to simply report and at that they fail each and everyday.

If you search the net for soldier blogs and other news sources, you will find that we are actually accomplishing quite a bit in Iraq and for the most part our troops are proud of their efforts. The first complain my brother and others in the 101st Airborne had when returning from Iraq was that the media is only reporting half the story. Perhaps this stems from the fact that even at home all we get is negative news because that is what "sells".

I encourage everyone out there to speak to members of the military that have served in Iraq and search the web for the news that is not being reported, starting with the article linked below.

To all our brave men and women serving this nation at home and abroad, Thank you again for your service and God bless you.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

We don't really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road or not. The chicken is either with us or it is against us. There is no middle ground here.

I agree with George.

Now at the left of the screen, you clearly see the satellite image of the chicken crossing the road.

We have reason to believe there is a chicken, but we have not yet been allowed access to the other side of the road.

This was an unprovoked act of rebellion and we were quite justified in
dropping 50 tons of nerve gas on it.

The chicken's habitat on the original side of the road had been polluted by unchecked industrialist greed. The chicken did not reach the unspoiled habitat on the other side of the road because it was crushed by the wheels of a gas-guzzling SUV.

To steal a job from a decent, hard-working American.

No one called to warn me which way that chicken was going. I had a standing order at the farmer's market to sell my eggs when the price dropped to a certain level. No little bird gave me any insider information.

I envision a world where all chickens will be free to cross roads without having their motives called into question.

Imagine all the chickens crossing roads in peace.

It was an historical inevitability.

I may not agree with what the chicken did, but I will defend to the death its right to do it.

What chicken?

The fact that you are at all concerned that the chicken crossed the road reveals your underlying sexual insecurity.

I did not cross the road with THAT chicken. What do you mean by chicken?
Could you define chicken, please?

And then He said "Let the chicken cross the road."

The chicken crossed the road because....oohhh....DONUT!!!

The chicken crossed the road?!?You are FIRED!

Michael Jackson
I didn't do anything with the chicken.I enjoy being with chickens because that makes me feel like a chicken inside.

There is no road.

Ok, One Last Time For Those Of You In The Back.

I can't believe this has become such an issue, ok I can. The Pro Kerry Information Coalition aka the mainstream media can't help but trip all over themselves running this false story. Once and for all here is a great article that sums it all up. The link is below. Later..........

Victim of Election Violence

My dear readers, I have a confession to make. Last Saturday, I fell victim to Election Violence. I was reluctant to post on this but now feel I should spread my story.

We like many people have decorated for Halloween. My wife went to shut off own Halloween lights for the night around 9:50pm, and discovered the horror. Someone had hacked and slashed one of my 1'X2' Bush/Cheney signs and left their handiwork on my lawn. I was of course outraged and my wife of course told me that was the chance I took by supporting the President.

I proceeded to file a police report as is my right and especially because the villain had to come on to my property at least 8 feet to perform their vandalism. I did so mainly as a lesson to my almost 4 year old boy. I think it is important at a young age to know that the police are there to help, even if in this case they can't do a damn thing. And of course kids say the damnest things, my son asked if I was going to shoot the bad man who destroyed our sign. I replied that "no, I was not going to waste a bullet on some liberal-commie bastard" and that this would be handled by the police.

No moral to this story, just kind of a FYI. Later..............

Something Else Funny, And It's Not Politically Correct

Rules of Manhood

01: Under no circumstances may two men share an umbrella.

02: It is ok for a man to cry under the following circumstances:

a. When a heroic dog dies to save its master.

b. The moment Angelina Jolie or Halle Berry (or both) starts unbuttoning her blouse.

c. After wrecking your boss' car.

d. One hour, 12 minutes, 37 seconds into "The Crying Game".

e. When she is using her teeth

06: Moaning about the brand of free beer in a friends fridge is forbidden. Complain at will if the temperature is unsuitable.

07: No man shall ever be required to buy a birthday present for another man. In fact, even remembering your mate's birthday is strictly optional.

08: On a road trip, the strongest bladder determines pit stops, not the weakest.

09: When stumbling upon other blokes watching a sporting event, you may ask the score of the game in progress, but you may never ask who's playing.

10: You may flatulate in front of a woman only after you have brought her to climax. If you trap her head under the covers for the purpose of flatulent entertainment, she's officially your girlfriend.

11: It is permissible to quaff a fruity alcopop drink only when you're sunning on a tropical beach...and it's delivered by a topless supermodel...and it's free.

12: Only in situations of moral and/or physical peril are you allowed to kick another bloke in the nuts.

23: Never allow a telephone conversation with a woman to go on longer than you are able to have sex with her. Keep a stopwatch by the phone. Hang up if necessary.

24: The morning after you and a girl who was formerly "just a friend" have carnal drunken monkey sex, the fact that you're feeling weird and guilty is no reason not to nail her again before the discussion about what a big mistake it was.

25: It is acceptable for you to drive her car. It is not acceptable for her to drive yours.

26: Thou shalt not buy a car in the colors of brown, pink, lime green, orange or sky blue.

27: The girl who replies to the question "What do you want for Christmas?" with "If you loved me, you'd know what I want!" gets an Xbox. End of story.

28: There is no reason for guys to watch Ice Skating or Mens’ Gymnastics. Ever.

This is Damn Funny

CBS, The Left's Ace In The Hole?

I guess the guys over at CBS figure we have already forgotten about them falsifying those National Guard documents because they are at it again.
Ok, everyone is talking about their plans to run the missing explosives story right before the election, but this post is not about that. This is about the fact that they can't seem to let go of the story about how the President "cheated" in the first election. Talk about beating a dead horse. Read their version of the story at the link below. Later........

The Numbers Just Don't Add Up

Ohio, the New Florida
That's the bumper sticker this season in Ohio.

I want to give Governor Taft credit for bringing this news to the main stream. However this story will be largely ignored by most, including the network that Taft was on this morning, CNN. This kind of voter fraud does great harm to the process and only serves to disenfranchise the legitimate voter whose vote is offset by an illegal vote. This kind of stuff is so much worse then anything real or imagined that the Dems accuse the GOP of.

Two Questions For the Kerry Supporters

Let's break it down Cosell style.

1) What is it about John Kerry that you like and why are you voting for him?
The answer of "because he's not Bush" will not be accepted under any circumstance.

2) If John Kerry's anti-war activities during the Vietnam war helped to force the US Government to "cut and run", what is it that makes you so certain he will not do the same in Iraq, Afghanistan, or in the war on terror?
The answer of "because he promised/pledged will also not be accepted under any circumstance.

Please post your comments and tributes of faith in John Kerry for all to see.

October Surprise, NOT!!!!!!

Isn’t it amazing how many favors the Dems are calling in? In their efforts to defend the President they somehow convinced the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency to release a report today about some missing explosives.

As the mainstream media ran with this story like a giddy schoolgirl, some journalists actually did their jobs. Tonight after the story ran and ran on every liberal news outlet, the truth came out.

Apparently NBC has seen the writing on the wall and rather the run an inaccurate story they ran the truth, the explosives were gone when we got to the depot the day after the war started. I have linked the article from Drudge below. By the way, I seem to recall this same information running as an AP wire report about 2 months ago and I am currently searching like mad for it. John and Katie Play Softball

Not that I have ever thought Katie Couric was a journalist, but boy did she prove it in this interview with John Kerry. I have provided the link for the full transcript below for your review dear readers. Allow me to comment on a few questions.

Couric: Let me ask you about the politics of fear. Saturday you said the president keeps going around the country trying to scare people, but you have also employed these tactics, one might say, by saying if the president is elected there might be a draft. People might have to work into their 70s or 80s because Social Security could be in jeopardy. You’ve raised the specter of bioterrorism based on the flu-vaccine shortage. So isn't it the pot calling the kettle black to say that the president is scaring the American people?

Sen. Kerry: No, it is profoundly not at all and I’ll tell you why. Because, number one, if we have more of the same policy in Iraq — where we have nine out of 10 of our active-duty divisions either in Iraq, coming back from Iraq, going to Iraq — and you face North Korea, which is now a nuclear threat, and Iran, which is an increasing threat, and you already have a stop loss policy, a back-door draft on your Reserves and your National Guard ... the president has said we're making progress. He’s going to do more of the same in Iraq. So how he's going to do that and get the job done when our own people tell us "You don't have enough troops on the ground," is beyond me. I think that … this is an anxiety that's not been on Social Security, Katie. It’s not my program that's privatizing Social Security. It’s the president's program. He has chosen to do this.

So let me see if I heard you right John. You say that the problem is we are overextended is because the war has been mis-managed but your committed to doing whatever it takes to win and help Iraq be free, sounds exactly like the President’s position. As for the stop-loss orders, those are a direct result of the military cuts that you voted for in the 90's and that Clinton put in place.

Couric: The Bush campaign is planning to spend the final days of this election saying you are weak on terrorism. Dick Cheney has talked about the fact that you voted against the first Gulf War [and] Saddam Hussein would still be in power, the Soviet Union would still exist if it were up to you. You voted against intelligence funding after the first World Trade Center attack in '93. You don't have the record to be commander in chief, and this weakness invites more terrorism.

Sen. Kerry: Now let me just look you and America in the eye and tell you this. Unlike Dick Cheney and George Bush, I put my life on the line for my country when it counted. I fought for this nation and I defended it as a young man, and I will defend America as president of the United States. I have supported the biggest military budgets in American history. I’ve supported the biggest intelligence budgets in American history. I'm not going to take a second seat to anybody about the passion that I bring to defending America.

So if you know that Katie's not going to challenge anything you say, then you have free license to lie? Kerry has constantly voted against increased funding for both intelligence and military. Check his voting record at
The site has summaries of Kerry's voting record by year.

Couric: The most recent NBC/Wall Street Journal Poll, Senator Kerry, said only 51 percent of voters said they felt they knew what you would do when you were elected, compared to 76 percent who think they know what the president would do. Forty-one percent said you didn't have a message. So, right now, can you tell me succinctly, if you had to say what your message to the American people is, what would that be?

Sen. Kerry: I'm going to make America safer and stronger than George Bush has. I’m going to fight a more effective, smarter war on terror. I’m going to bring America’s reputation back in the world, bringing our allies to our side. I will make America stronger at home, providing affordable health care to all Americans and keeping our commitment to jobs that pay more here in America than the jobs that are going overseas, and a tax cut for middle-class Americans. I will fight a more effective war on terror and I will fight for the middle class, something George Bush doesn't do.

So if there has not been any attack since 9/11, how exactly can he make us safer then that? Our "Allies", some of whom sold us down the river for Oil for Food vouchers have stated that they will not help even if you’re President. As for paying for your health care program, how do you plan on paying for it? I am in the middle-class and guess what you liberal, anti-American, jackass, I got a tax cut and you’re not getting it back.

Ok, I was a little over the top on that last comment but I happen to like that I don't pay as much in taxes as I did 4 years ago and that I get a 1,000 tax credit for each of my kids. Read the full article below and comment on your favorite Kerry misrepresentation. Later.........

Another Day, Another Lie to Get Elected

I know that most politicians regard the common voter/American as stupid, but John Kerry has demonstrated that he has really taken that stereotype to heart. The Senator has continued to make statements that are proved to be out and out incorrect or dare I say blatant lies.
His latest claim was that he is more in touch with the wishes of the UN, specifically the Security Council. He said during the second debate that he had a meeting with the Security Council and all members were present, not surprising since he worships at the altar of the UN and New World Order.

Today we learn that even the Pro-Kerry UN has had enough of the lies and falsehoods. The very folks would John was supposedly meeting with have come out and said that there was no meeting and all but one have never even met John Kerry. Does he or his handlers really believe that people are stupid enough to look past him being caught in another obvious lie? Once again John, you have proved exactly why you should not be President, much less a Senator. Now go sit in the corner and think about what you have done!

Syria: The New Switzerland

I have one question; if they hid his money, then what else do they have of his? Kind of makes that theory about the WMD's going to Syria before the war seem a little bit more plausible.

Illegals Make Ammo?

Once again the issue of illegal immigration comes front and center. In this case we were lucky because the illegals in this case were just looking for work like most of the millions that cross over border to the south with Mexico.

Here is Arizona; we have a proposal on the ballot called Prop 200, sounds innocent enough. The proposal is an attempt at stemming the tide of illegals that cross in the Arizona desert everyday. As I said, most of these folks are hard working, religious people just looking for a chance to make a better life. The proposal states that anyone not able to prove US citizenship shall not be allowed to vote in elections, get a drivers license, and most importantly collect state benefits including welfare and cash assistance.

The people opposed to this idea include the entire Senate and House of Representatives delegation from Arizona, the Governor, the Attorney General, and other state and local officials. They say it's too vague, that police and fire will have to check for citizenship before helping someone. That's just plain ridiculous. I do agree the language is vague and I can bet it will be challenged in court, see the folks who actually vote on it, support it by a 65% to 35% margin.

Sometimes it's hard to explain the problem that illegal immigration poses to folks in the Midwest or back East. They don't have to deal with the increased health care costs, increased social program costs, increased car insurance rates, or increased crime in some cases. This ballot measure is a direct result of the lack of action by both parties to address this problem and the frustration of the people in this state. Well, I am climbing down off my soapbox. The article about the illegals working at the ammo plant is linked below.

If Only The Press Did Their Job.................

I really did not give a rat's ass about Kerry's Vietnam record. I mean he went, he served, end of story as far as I was concerned. I am swayed more in what he has or has not done in the time that he became a public official. His record or lack there of in the Senate has always been of greater importance to me and many others.

Now comes an article detailing the possibility that Kerry did not receive an honorable discharge as he so proudly points to on his website. The article makes a compelling argument and leads me to conclude that Kerry's military record may not be as squeaky clean as he purports. Now, this late in the game without concrete proof is going to do nothing but raise more questions then answers.

It would be nice if Kerry would sign the release form for all of his records but that’s just wishful thinking. Read the article and make up your own mind. Later.............................

OBL Update

I hope this information is true, it's most likely not, but I don't understand why we don't just grab this worthless shit. Musharraf is pretty much screwed no matter what he does; in fact I am surprised he has held on this long.

He's got OBL and company in his country actively working to overthrow him and set up another Taliban government. Maybe the guy has nine lives, let's hope so. I also hope that we get off our ass and stop giving Pakistan a pass on the fact that they have passed on nuclear technology to North Korea, and Libya to name a few. Enjoy............

Another Home Run By George Will

Can I just say that George Will is da man? First of all, he is an extremely intelligent man who breaks down complex issues so that anyone can understand his viewpoint. And he is against the DH rule in baseball, nuff said. Later..................

Some British A__Hole

Not much to say about this other then this guy's an asshole who should stick to smoking fags and sucking down John Courage at the local pub. Ok, before you get offended, fags are cigarettes and John Courage is a British Ale. Ok, please read the entire article, the most telling part of it is the last paragraph, thus confirming the writer’s status as an asshole. Later..........

Here We Go......................

This one is a little surprising. Ok, maybe not, the desperation is really starting to show. I feel bad for the "sheepeople" that are conducting these hit and run attacks on the polling places. Don't they realize that they are committing a crime?

I expect these types of things to get some play in the mainstream media but be dismissed as a few radicals and not a page out of the Dem's election play book. My advice to anyone who experiences one of these attacks, carry your cell phone, paper, pen and dial 911 to report these folks who are breaking the law. Remember, liberalism is a sickness and you’re really helping these people. Later folks...........

Q & A With John F'ing Kerry

I found this article off one of my Google Alerts. See, I like to keep tabs on what the forces of Evil are doing on a day to day basis. On to the lies and the man who tells them, other wise known as John F'ing Kerry. Does he really think no one notices that he says whatever he thinks will get him elected?

Here is a great example, Kerry is asked about the possibility of a repeat of the 2000 Election, and here is the Q&A is below.

Q: What’s your plan if this election goes to the courts?

A: It’s not going to go to the courts. We are going to win this election and I don’t think it is going to go to the courts. The American people will come out in record numbers and they are going to decide this election. I want to guarantee, that anybody that is worried about voting, we have 10,000 lawyers that are part of the team nationally that are guaranteeing that people are going to vote. That is why I’m very confident, because we put together ahead of time the legal team necessary to guarantee people’s rights to vote. And that’s why I believe it won’t go to the courts.

Never mind the fact that the Dems have those 10,000 lawyers ready to sue on their behalf in any state where the election is close, or that they have special "legal SWAT teams" ready to roll on Election Night. It's not really about protecting the rights of any voter as far as their concerned, just about winning for their guy.

And another thing, what makes Kerry think he’s in a position to guarantee anything to anyone? Hell the man can’t even guarantee he will have the same position on anything from one day to the next. He did speak a tiny nugget of truth, the Americans are going to turn out in record numbers and they will choose to re-elect President Bush in a much larger margin then the pundits are expecting. Saturday Errands

Recovering from Poker, too weak to post. Got a dentist appointment, hoping Michigan beat Purdue. Going to see Team America with the wife, review later...........

Went to the dentist, got an oil change and transmission fluid change, went grocery shopping with the wife, Costco/Fry's, never made it to the movie. But on a positive note, picked up Tommy Franks's book, American Soldier, and Michigan came from behind again and beat Purdue to stay undefeated in the Big Ten. Later folks……….

Stolen Honor for Free, if you care?

I have just finished watching Stolen Honor and I really don't understand why John Kerry is so upset. The film is 80% about the POW's of Vietnam and the rest about the people who protested against it. Ok, actually I do know why John does not want you to see this film, he is totally discredited and shown for the lying backstabbing war criminal that he is.

I have included the link below to watch the video as a stream; however I recommend that everyone click on File then Save As and save it to your hard drive so you can pass it on. My greatest hope is that as many Kerry "supporters" see it as possible. After watching, I can not honestly believe anyone would support Kerry because of who he is. Let’s be truthful, most Kerry supporters hate him too but hate W more, hence their lukewarm support for him. Well enjoy the film and pass it on to as many people as you can before November 2nd.

Friday Night at last

Well folks it's Friday night and that means its poker night. Tonight should be interesting as we are scheduled to have two newbie’s added to our regular group. I look forward to taking their money as I do the others at the table, but there is something about busting out a virgin early in the night and sending them to the ATM for more cash.

Some had suggested that we make an exception and allow women to participate. Those folks were promptly beaten about the head and sent for more beer, thus becoming grog wenches. I love women, but more important then that I love one woman more then any. Now, as much as I love my beautiful and charming wife, I would not want to play poker with her or any other women. Here's why: 1) we don't think alike. 2) We don't talk alike. And last but not least, 3) most women do not want to spend time with a bunch of drinking, smoking, farting, shit-talking, smelly men unless there is a possibility of sex, and trust me with this group, it ain’t happening.

I know I am making broad statements, but that's why I am here. I know it's a cliché, but men and women are sooooo different and I do have friends that are girls, but would never think of asking them to come to one of our poker nights. Not because I don't think they can play cards, hell everyone wants a patsy with money in their game, but because I know I am a man and I know how we act and sometimes I am embarrassed by the shiznit we say and do.

So honey, when you ask about poker night and I grunt, you’re getting the Cliff notes. Once again, thank you my lovely wife for allowing me to play cards while you are home with our two great kids, I love you Monkey. Later Troops..................

Europe Suck's and Here's the Proof

I found this article today, don't ask how I got to this site, I don't know myself. Besides that's not the freaking point.

For many years we have been force fed the idea that Europe was vastly superior to these United States. A little background, I have never been to Europe, don't really want to ever go and hated the fact that I was forced in high school to waste my time learning a European language.

Well now we have two separate news reports that show how weak and feeble Europe really is. The truth is that Europe is facing rising unemployment, rampant immigration that threatens to remake many countries, declining birth rate, aging workforce, and rising social program costs. Me thinks that Europe needs us a hell of a lot more then we need or want them. Perhaps the next time this country asks for help on something, Old Europe will step up and help. I am not by any means an isolationist, rather I hope for better relations with all countries.

Something Funny to Pass the Time

I found this originally at Insanely Inane Thoughts, I thought it was too funny not to repost. Enjoy......

Two Cows

SOCIALIST: You have two cows. The government takes one and gives it to your neighbor. You're placed in a cooperative to tell him how to manage your cow.

COMMUNIST: You have two cows. The government seizes both and provides you with milk. You wait in line for hours to get it. It is expensive, and sour.

CAPITALISM, AMERICAN STYLE: You have two cows. You sell one, buy a bull, and build a herd of cows.

DEMOCRACY, AMERICAN STYLE: You have two cows. The government taxes you to the point you have to sell both to support a man in a foreign country who has only one cow, which was a gift from your government.

BUREAUCRACY, AMERICAN STYLE: You have two cows. The government takes them both, shoots one, milks the other, pays you for the milk, then pours the milk down the drain.

AMERICAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You sell one, lease it back to yourself, and do an IPO on the 2nd one. You force the 2 cows to produce the milk of four cows. You are surprised when one cow drops dead. You spin an announcement to the analysts stating you have downsized and are reducing expenses.Your stock goes up.

FLORIDA CORPORATION: You have a black cow and a brown cow. Everyone votes for the best-looking one. Some of the people who like the brown one best vote for the black one. Some people vote for both. Some people vote for neither. Some people can't figure out how to vote at all. Finally, a bunch of Democrats from out-of-state tell you which is the best-looking one.

NEW YORK CORPORATION: You have fifteen million cows. You have to choose which one will be the leader of the herd, so you pick some fat, bossy bitch cow from Arkansas.

FRENCH CORPORATION: You have two cows. You go on strike because you want three cows. You go to lunch and drink wine. Life is good.

JAPANESE CORPORATION: You have two cows. You redesign them so they are 1/10 the size of an ordinary cow and produce 20 times the milk. They learn to travel on unbelievably crowded trains. Most are at the top of their class at cow school.

GERMAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You engineer them so they are all blond, drink lots of beer, give excellent quality milk, and run a hundred miles an hour. Unfortunately, they also demand 13 weeks of vacation per year.

ITALIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows, but you don't know where they are. While ambling around, you see a beautiful woman. You break for lunch.Life is good.

RUSSIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You have some vodka. You count them and learn you have 5 cows. You have some more vodka. You count them again and now you have 42 cows. The Mafia shows up and takes over however many cows you really have.

TALIBAN CORPORATION: You have all the cows in Afghanistan, which are two. You don't milk them because you cannot touch any creature's private parts. Then you kill them and claim a US bomb blew them up while they
were in the hospital.

IRAQI CORPORATION: You have two cows. They go into hiding. They send radio tapes of their mooing.

CALIFORNIAN CORPORATION: You have millions of cows. Most are illegals. Arnold likes the ones with the big udders.

INDIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. They wander around the roads aimlessly.

PAKISTANI CORPORATION: You have no cows. You claim that the Indian cows are yours.

BRITISH CORPORATION: You have two cows....both are mad.

SWISS CORPORATION: You have 5000 cows, none of which belong to you. You charge others for storing them.

CHINESE CORPORATION: You have two cows. You have 300 people milking them. You claim full employment, high bovine productivity, and arrest the newsman who reported the numbers.

BIBLE CORPORATION: You have two cows. You pray and then you pray some more. Now you have two holy cows.

FREUDIAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. They have dreams about having sex with your mother.

NY Times Turns on Kerry

My guess is John Kerry either pissed someone off at the NY Times or Alessandra Stanley failed to read the "Be Nice to John Kerry" memo that I am sure has circulated through the offices of the NY Times.

I must give credit to Alessandra Stanley for doing a stand-up job in presenting a fair review of the documentary, "Stolen Honor: Wounds that never heal". You can read her entire review at the link below. Enjoy........

The Gameplan for Theft According to Kerry

Another Posting I wrote on my "day off" from politics, enjoy.

All I can say about this is that Kerry is "the man with a plan". How do you think his supporters feel knowing that their guy is preparing for a loss? It must be dishearting for the liberal machine to look at this man and know that he is their best hope for a win on November 2nd. I can only compare it to the disappointment I felt when the Republicans ran out Bob Dole against Clinton. Now don't get me wrong, I respect and admire Bob Dole but there was no way in hell he was going to beat Clinton.

For their guy to be counting on losing and have his "swat team" of lawyers ready and waiting is shameful. Al "Crybaby" Gore set a terrible precedent in American politics by his actions in the 2000 election. He and his cabal of lawyers have now set us down the path of having our elections compared to those of third world nations. I suspect that the Dems have seen some internal polling that shows a greater loss by Kerry then most people think and are just trying to keep their core calm and prepared for another long election night.

Once again, Kerry has proved that he is willing to say and do anything to win this election. I was going to touch on the Flu shot double standard but it's been beaten to death by others so I will resist from further comment.

More Tales Of Voter Fraud

Once again the sad tale of vote fraud reaches us. Link below for more information.

Kerry Said What?

I actually wrote this on Wednesday during my self-imposed exile from political speak, enjoy.

I would encourage all undecided voters and current and past members of our armed forces to read this article in the Washington Post and pay special attention to the 3rd paragraph where Mr. Kerry says in response to a question about the justification of American soldiers being killing in Bosnia, and I quote "If you mean dying in the course of the United Nations effort, yes, it is worth that. If you mean dying American troops unilaterally going in with some false presumption that we can affect the outcome, the answer is unequivocally no."

Let's all think on exactly what he said. If American soldiers die in a unilateral action, their sacrifice is not as great as if they died in a UN sanctioned action. Boy, to me that sure sounds like a man that will be at the beck and call of the United Nations. As unforgivable this comment is, Kerry has held to this belief for many of the years he has been in public service. Please read the article and pass it on to your family and friends, this speaks to Kerry's core values about American and serves as another reason why he should not be President much less a Senator. The Soliders need our Help

On my day of rest from politics, my thoughts turned to all of the
brave men and women that serve this country. I have a brother in the
101st Airborne who has already done one tour in Iraq (14 months) and
may go back in the spring.

My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you out
there that has a family member, friend, neighbor, or co-worker in the
military. It is a hard choice for many to serve this country, while
for others it comes easily. I can honestly say that I have the
greatest respect and admiration for all who serve this great nation,
or have served in the past. One of the great regrets of my young life
is that I did not serve my country in the armed forces.

I will be the first to admit that I am a news junkie. When my
brother was stationed in Iraq, I stopped watching the news and
actively surfing the internet for Iraq news. I continued to fly my
flag everyday, and say my prayers every night. If it was that hard
for me, a brother, can you imagine how hard it is for a mother,
father, or a spouse?

I have found two websites that are doing great work in regards to
providing additional support to our deployed troops in Iraq and
Afghanistan. I encourage all to help any way you can, after all, we
are all Americans. God Bless America

A Day Off The Political Trail

I am going to try a take today off from the political commentary. Even I, an admitted political junkie get burned out on occasion. So my wife suggested that I post about family or Arizona or something, I am still debating. Stay tuned True Believers...............

Another Blog Worth Reading

I found this while surfing Blogexplosion and this blog deserves some reading.

A View From The Bleachers

Here's a taste.......

5 things that annoy me about Mondays

  1. “How was your weekend?” I realize it is just asked out of politeness but at some point I’m going to break out into this rant so beware: I’m happily married with no kids and an active social life. Of course I had a better weekend than you did. I had sex more than you did, I drank more than you did, I stayed up far later, and slept in until afternoon. Go live vicariously through someone else. Can I maybe catch up with my email now?
  2. Catching up with email. What in the hell kind of sick life do these people lead that send out email on weekends with actual work shit in them? Like a steaming pile of dung, there it is… bright and bushy-tailed waiting to be read Monday morning. Damn over-achievers… two moments of peace to finish my soda would be nice before being bombarded with little pop-up windows for the 65 new email messages I have.
  3. “Did you happen to finish the…” No I didn’t. I didn’t work over the weekend either (as far as you know) mainly because my wife was horny and I’m not a twit. The due date for said project isn’t until next week. I have plenty of time. Stop freakin’ bothering me with work shit just so you can break into annoying thing #1.
  4. Catching up with voicemail. Similar to #2 in many respects, these people actually call and leave voicemails knowing full well that you are not in the office and won’t receive the message until Monday. For email, at least they have the glimmer of hope that you’ll check your email over the weekend. Why in the hell would you call someone’s office and leave a 7-minute voicemail on a weekend?!?!?
  5. Getting annoyed with me when I don’t ask how your weekend was. If it is any time before noon and/or you don’t see two empty soda cans on my desk then I frankly don’t give a flaming rat turd how your weekend went there Sparky. Maybe this afternoon I’ll have the patience to listen to how your boy read through his first book or how your total hottie 16-yr. old daughter confessed that she’s a lesbian. Until then, all I want to do is actually start working.
Enjoy it while it lasts.............

Blogexplosion, it works.

I was meaning to mention this earlier but wanted to see some data. I have joined over a Blogexplosion. It's a site that generates traffic to member blogs. I have to say that I am impressed, in the 5 days since I joined it has tripled my traffic, if only for 30 seconds at a time.

Welcome to all that come to me via Blogexplosion, hopefully you will find something to come back for. Later folks.....

I would like to thank those of you that have responded and hope that you enjoy your new Gmail accounts. I still have 4 invites to give so if your interested, please shoot me an email at Thanks to all who have stopped to read a bit.

I do not know Dennis Prager nor have I ever read or listened to him in the past, but the man speaks volumes in his latest column over at
He really lays out one man's argument for not voting for John Kerry and I think some of his reasons hit home for most of us. Enjoy.............

NAACP Pays In Crack Cocaine

Where do I start with this one? The NAACP has a group they founded after the 2000 election called NAACP National Voter Fund which primary function is to register new voters. A noble and worthy cause to be sure. Where is good intention goes horribly wrong is in its execution, like so many causes that liberal champion.

Now, let's give the NAACP the benefit of the doubt and acknowledge that this incident was most likely caused by a "rogue agent" of the NAACP Voter Fund. However as the article states, this is not the first complaint against the NAACP National Voter Fund, seems to me that this is a pattern of behavior.

The National NAACP leaders have washed their hands of these folks and rightly so, I give them credit for that. The part that mystifies me is that after decades of voter fraud on both sides of the line, why on Earth would this group trust a convicted felon and pay him in crack, which goes way beyond typical voter fraud.

Now let me make one more "fair" comment, the NAACP National Voter Fund is a nonpartisan group. If you believe that, let me sell you some beautiful Arizona oceanfront property in Yuma. Now, I don't wish to be labeled someone that only complains.

I have a suggestion to address the rash of voter fraud that we have seen this election cycle. The motor voter bill was a great idea when passed and still is. But let me make this suggestion, if we are to continue to allow groups other then the state agencies outlined in the law to collect voter registration forms, should we not certify them and license them? The states would still govern over this form of voter registration and even turn it into a revenue stream. Shouldn’t we know exactly who is out there collecting these forms and turning them in on behalf of the state? Just something to ponder. Please read the entire article. Later Troops.........

Oops, I said something wrong?

As a former Catholic I was actually unaware of this provision in Canon law. I guess John Kerry is not such a Hard-Core Catholic as he pretends to be on the campaign trail. Oops, I guess his faith really isn’t that important. Enjoy folks...........

Now what Jackass????

Oh my, the sky is falling on John Kerry's head. Hey John, Canada called and they don't want to be your personal pharmacy. So now we ask the question of "the man with a plan", where are you going to buy cheap drugs?
Got an idea John, how about pursuing tort reform and rolling back the Clinton price controls that have driven up the cost of drugs and medicine in this country? Enjoy the full article below. Later Troops...........

Jack Kemp: A Voice Of Reason and a Hell of a Football Player

I have always admired Jack Kemp for his sound conservative values, chief among which is his fiscal polices. As anyone who knows me personally or has read this blog for the last couple of months, I am not a happy camper when it comes to the President's fiscal policy. I think that he has not cut taxes far enough, both personal and corporate, and that he is spending our money like a drunken sailor.

Mr. Kemp has written a great column over at that talks about the national debt as a percentage of GDP and how the goal of government should be to encourage economic growth and not thinking about how to raise tax dollars to pay down the debt. I suggest anyone who has a modest interest in the way that the government collects money and spends it, read the column. Enjoy the link. Later Troops........

Kerry's Iran scandal

UPDATE 10/18/2004

Guess what? Jackass was lying about something else, or if I give him the benefit of the doubt, misleading. According to a sworn deposition given today by Sen. John Kerry's chief Iranian-American fund-raiser, Hassan Nemazee, a New York investment banker and former board member of a pro-Tehran lobby, Iran can not be trusted to do any other then make nuclear weapons. Nemazee also admits to raising 500,000 in donations for Kerry, which by the way has bought him under investigation by the Federal Election Commission. I have linked the article below for your full review. In my humble opinion, this is could be the October surprise that Kerry has been living in fear.

Is John Kerry or his people so stupid that they did not learn from the mistakes of Bill Clinton and Al Gore? Wait don't answer that, because they are that dumb. At the same time that we have European countries tripping all over themselves to try and remain neutral in the election, this jackass is either knowing taking illegal contributions or is really not in control of his own campaign.

It's really a shame that no investigative reporter in the mainstream media will step up and question the Kerry/Edwards campaign about this information. If the information and allegations are wrong then the campaign should step up and say so.
