Blogburst: Death to the ACLU

I dislike everything about this Communist front organization. From its founding in 1920 by 2 professed members of the Communist Party to their recent support for NAMBLA. To me, this organization has done more damage to this nation than any opposing army.

Just think about how many Communist goals have been fulfilled and who was responsible for their application. On January 10, 1963, 45 goals of the Communist Party were read into the Congressional Record. They are excerpts from a book called the Naked Communist. I can think of several that come to mind as being ACLU supported.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them‚ "censorship‚" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography, and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.

26. Present Homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as‚ "normal, natural, and healthy".

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. (And abortion could be added to that list)

45. Repeal the Connally Reservation so the US can not prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.

Add to that list their refusal to protect the 2nd Amendmeninsistencestance to ignore the 10th Amendment. Alsoppositiontition to the US military. I find nothing about this organization worthy of being involved with.

And the insult beyond insults. Their ability to handcuff our nation's small governments with the threat of expensive court proceedings as a way to further their agenda. And when they win a case, they are able to collect attorney's fees as part of the settlement. And the taxpayers of the United States are paying those fees. Fees for cases that they have taken pro bono (for free).

Support the passage of HR 2679, Public Expression of Religion Act of 2005. Write, call, and email your Congressman and Senators urging passage of this important legislation.
