To Haloscan Or Not

First of all Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Now, I have been thinking of switching to Haloscan for my commenting but I seem to read mixed reviews on other blogs as I travel through the BS, mainly via BE. Help me out and vote if you have an opinion. The poll is in my sidebar to the right, no your other right. Thanks and later....................

Mad Tech,

Thanks for visiting my site and for recognising my true beauty:)
Haloscan is THE way to go - in fact normally if it is a blogger comment I won't bother, but for you and your question I decided I'd make the exception.
With Haloscan there's no typing in info - it's all there waiting and all you do is type your comment. There are loads of designs to choose from too - can't beat it in Flirts eyes.
Ciao,
Flirt

I switched to Haloscan about a week ago and have been happy with it, it offers more features than Blogger commenting for banning spammers and I think it’s faster.

I have the impression, however, that Haloscan deletes old comments after a while and that Blogger doesn't, so if you're attached to your comments that might be a reason to stay. I'm not completely sure that Blogger doesn't but it could be something to look into.

I switched to Haloscan well over a month ago and have no complaints. It's far better than Blogger's default comment system. In addition, when you install Haloscan commenting you can also install trackback. Some people don't use trackback while others do.

You can manage all the comments and trackbacks from one location. And as someone else already said, the look of the comments system is highly customizable.

Haloscan has been good to me since I started using it a few months ago. If you can handle the occasional small non-intrusive book ad, you're set.

Haloscan is ok, if you get more than 200 comments they do not show up, but if you click they are there.

Thanks to all for comments on Haloscan. I am leaning towards switching to it in the near future.
