I ran across this:
The Product: Heinz Ketchup.
You Assume: When you buy a bottle of ketchup that says “20 oz.” On it, you get 20 oz. of ketchup.
Would They Lie To Us?: Bill Baker of
Exposed: Bill got ticked off. “If it says 20 ounces, it should be 20 ounces,” he said. He called the state’s Division of Measurement, setting off a five-year statewide investigation of H. J. Heinz Co. What did they find? Heinz’s bottled products, from the 20-ounce to the 64-ounce size, were regularly 0.5% to 2% short. That may not seem like much, but officials estimated that Californians had been cheated out of 10 million ounces – 78,124 gallons – of the red stuff. That’s $650,000 worth of ketchup. Heinz was ordered to pay $180,000 in civil penalties, and agreed to overfill their bottles for one year – by about 10 million ounces.
I have but one question, if Kerry wins and his wife is put in charge of health care reform ala Bill/Hillary, can we expect similar treatment in our health plan? I can see it now, sorry Mrs. Smith, we did not have quite enough blood to complete you dialysis so you will feel a couple pints low for a day or two. Enjoy................

It never ceases to amaze me how conservatives hate Teresa Heinz Kerry..mostly for her money and fortune.
Yet they never seemed to mind it a bit when she was a Republican and married to a Republican.
Carla, thanks for comment. I don't think we hate her, but we simply can't find anything to like about her. Kinda makes me wish for the days when she was married to a good republican man who knew how to keep his wacko wife in check. Obviously John's balls are carried in Heinx-Kerry's purse.

A neat turn of phrase/concept...I'd be mad, too. But the political comparison seems a bit conspiracy-theory-esque -- you don't really believe that Theresa has anything to do with decisions about bottling, do you? Might as well hope that Paris Hilton's going to sneak into your hotel bed some night.
Nah, I don't think so. I just found this interesting and thought I would pass it on. Thanks for the comment.

ROTHF....that is good one!
Since there's no source cited, I'm going to assume the whole thing's made up.
Further: It's been established that Heinz-Kerry has no involvement with the Heinz Co., not since the death of her first husband. So the connections between the ketchup and her are based on nothing.
Finally: Take any food container, and measure out just how many ounces of product are in each. You're never going to find the exact amounts in anything, from milk to crackers to baking powder.
All in all, a weak post. Congrats.
Do a Google search; you will find the state of California court documents. Since you choose to post anonymously, I can't thank you personally for weak comment. Have a nice day over there in Long Beach, California.

Heh, that was nice to read. Ofcourse you can't possibly make a link between that story and Kerry's politics or ms. Heinz-kerry. If you would see a connection between this and politics, you could only see that major company's screw over the americans, whiwh would be bad news for the republicans and Bush, since they are owned by them and seriously kiss corporation butt.
Elect halliburton for president...
